it's not intel core duo 2... it's intel core 2 duo

the 2nd of something like core series.. kasi meron din tinatawag na core solo... it uses naman the "core" architecture pero isa lang siya.

it's not mas mabagal kasi it's 1.66. it's 1.66 time 2 so that's 3.32Ghz

the advantage of having 2 cores is 1 can rest while the other does the talking and the other can rest while the other does the talking...

kung mas marming job.. both talks.

sa 1 core lang or like pentiums and celerons.. 2 jobs, 1 talks..

dual cores advantage is one multiple running programs. both background on foreground running programs.

it depends also kung gaano kagaling ang motherboard mo sa pagutilize ng dual core.. at mas maganda rin ang performance nya kung naka dual channel and iyong memory...

2 512Mhz = 2Ghz on a dual channel.. why kasi it utilizes both upload and download streams. 1 channel upload the other downloads... sa single channel kasi maghihintay pa siyang matapos yung upload nung info bago siya mag download...

as long as na parahas yung frequency nila. and that the mother board supports it... it'll do that...

think of it as a one way and two way road

kung one-way lang siya kailangan pang hintayin yung signal nung other side na makadaan ka nahahati tumatagal yung time.

kung two-way naman di na kailangan ng signal ng kabila para makadaan ka kasi may sakili ka nang daan.
