Can you provide a direct link for the kapersky website so that we could read what are the features... other antivirus may seem to slow down the system this is due that the antivirus is active or doing a real time monitoring on the system and monitoring system if the virus definitons are updated... some other antivirus may say that they dont consume much memory coz the fact is their antivirus only detects viruses when doing a scan only and they dont do auto update...

Kaspersky is very active on system real time monitoring and the best thing is it don't waste RAM not like to NOD32 and other scanners.

kya kung may 5 kang viruses, ung lahat ng 5 madi detect nya.

cause most of the time awhile back, i used the Norton and NOD32.
it scans 3 malicious files from 20 defected files.
not satisfied with the results so i used KAV, it detects 11 threats.

Other scanners can only quarantine defected files compare to KAV.

Even hackers or an ordinary programmers can't even say that if you have only 5 virus hide in your pc, that is the absolute total number of malicious files. No one can even calculates it aside from the best scanner have invented.

AVG free na gamit ko ngayon... galit ako sa Norton.. potek ang daming RAM na kinakain ng Norton... wala naman masyadong use... yung ibang PC na ininstalan ko ng Norton napasukan pa rin ng Rontokbro.

Speaking of Sophos. ito ang pinaka walang kwentang Anti-Virus. ito gamit sa lahat ng pc sa school namin... at yung lahat ng pc na yun ay may virus...

sa pagkakaalam ko po eh yung Lavasoft Ad-aware is not an Anti-Virus program.
di po ba adware and spyware remover lang siya?

in my case kasi po i use it to clean cookies and other such crap... then nung ginamit ko yung norton may nakita virus na di na detect ng ad aware. so Ad aware is not an anti-virus?

di q rin kabisado kung virus nga ung lavasoft ad-aware kc nung 1st time na ginamit q, puro mga spyware ang mga lumabas ang mga nadetect nya.

useless, in the sense na meron nmn anti-virus na kayang alisin lahat ng mga spyware eh. kc quarantine lng kaya nung iba, dun aq naiinis



habang maaga, try mo switch to Kaspersky... no regrets if u try.
or use as your 2nd virus scanner for best result. ^^
moreover, marami offer ang kaspersky di lang ung personal pro na gamit ko ngaun. may alam kc akong forum na puro hacks ang pinag-uusapan... almost of them using Kaspersky and AVG Free Edition at the same time.

sabi nila pinakada-best ang AVG, mali ako sa news na nilagay instead na AVG, Avast nilagay q, di q na ma-edit kc may time ung pag-edit

the best for me is norton.... or mcAfee.... un nga lang kumakain cla ng memory at mey subscription ako every year T_T...pero since na install ko na ang norton d2 sa bahay no virus,,,trojan,,,or any forein attacks at lahat filtered ang pumapasok at outgoing sa pc ko..... d tulad ng dati.... na every 2-3 months reformat ako >.< dahil lang sa virus......

avg at bitdefender pa den ang the best. meron sila nakikita na virus na hindi nakikita ng iba

akin avira. aw ewan ko kung ano to naka install nksi pag bili ko.

its been 7 months since i use avg ang yet der is still no virus...

di ko pa na tritry kapersky pero i used AVG in all of the PC's here sa bahay and sa office ng mom ko and natanggal naman niya yung mga virus... even the most pasaway na virus na nagsasara ng task manager at ng avg installer..
